5. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 8TH December 20266. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of KES 1,500,000.00(Kenya Shillings One Million Five Hundred Thousand) in the form of a Commercial bank guarantee and shall be valid for 152 days .Bids are submitted at the notice address (sealed envelope) or online if the notice allows it, before the deadline. Late bids are rejected.
3Eligibility and required documents
2. The Water Resources Authority (WRA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of Water Pans – Batch II (Dandu, Shimbir Fatuma and Karo) in Mandera County as detailed below:Documents usually requested (check the tender documents)
- Business registration certificate (or equivalent for a foreign company)
- Valid tax clearance certificate
- Social security compliance certificate
- References for similar contracts and completion certificates
- Financial statements or turnover for recent years (works and large contracts)
- Bid security or bid-securing declaration, if required
- Signed bid forms and power of attorney of the signatory
Open to firms and consultants from eligible countries under the World Bank Procurement Regulations. Firms debarred by the World Bank are excluded.
